Mommy, Mal .... & KAY!

Malaki, Kay and I... of course Kay is always starving for attention these days; resembling a goat at times... and other times every other animal imaginable. Malaki just got some more vaccinations yesterday and had a bit of a fever but is doing great now... just a little side effects! What an amazing past few days this has been with Malaki as he has grown to know us as "Mommy and Daddy" and is smiling all the time as we talk and play with him. Its simply beautiful "rewards" for parents to see their children smile and giggle. We look forward to the coming times as we are sure he will have his daddy's sense of humor... and they will balance each other out well. Day by day we have had to trust in the Lord as we raise Malaki here in Burundi; we can honestly say as first time parents it can be challenging being here and not having a pediatrician "on hand" and or family around to help out with things but the Lord knows and has been with us in His faithfulness.
